On my way to Post Office to let them know to hold mail while we are gone, I stopped to feed cows and say good bye. They have some green grass in December (very unusual) to eat, and David put out an 800 lb round bale of hay for them to snack on. I gave them the "Be safe, take care of each other, and we will be home soon." speech. With a pat on Lily`s head, I left them to graze...
